Reverend William J. Keane, Senior Minister
Reverend Bill Keane was born in Caracas, Venezuela and grew up mostly in New Jersey. He is a graduate of the University of Miami and Drew University holding a BA in Communications and an M/Div. (cum laude).
After beginning a career in radio broadcasting, Reverend Bill was ordained an American Baptist minister in 1983. He began ministry in the Uniting Church in Australia (Congregational, Methodist, Presbyterian). He has served in Connecticut since 1988 and during that time he has made two appearances on the ABC network televised "LIVE with Regis and Kathie Lee." In addition he has written and voiced more than 20 public service and religious based radio commercials.
Reverend Bill is a writer/photographer whose words and /images have won several awards and found publication in magazines such as Australian Camera Craft, TIME and US NEWS & WORLD REPORT. Reverend Bill was awarded 1st Place in the 2000 Olympus Inc. Summer Competition and he won Best Documentary in both the 2000 and 2001 ATT Television Video awards. Reverend Bill is married to Lisa Bachiochi and they have three children.

Michael Cretella, Jr., Organist/Choir Director
Mr. Cretella earned undergraduate degrees in music and clinical psychology from the University of New Haven along with a Masters Degree in Elementary Education. He has lived in East Haven all his life. He speaks two languages, French and English. Mr. Cretella teaches calligraphy to adults at the East Haven High School. He has taught piano lessons since 1985 and owns four pianos. Mr. Cretella is the organist and choir director for First Baptist Church in Branford. Before becoming a teacher, he was a medical underwriter for an insurance company. "I am very excited to teach full time and can't wait to teach my students a little French."

Beth Hardy-Cox, Church Secretary
Beth Hardy-Cox, a native of New Haven, is an active member of Dixwell Ave. Congregational United Church of Christ. She has been married to Joe for 10 years and was employed at Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield for 23 years. Completing her work in the health care industry, she went to Albertus Magnus College full time and graduated with an Associate of Arts degree with a concentration in Managing Information Systems. She is currently pursuing her BA in Human Services at Albertus.
Beth is a fine vocalist and sings in two choirs in her church. She is also a regular in New Haven’s jazz world. She loves animals; she and Joe have a pampered cat named Ashua. She is a registered travel agent and has a home based on-line travel agency. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, reading, cooking and traveling with her husband, Joe.
