Here
at First Baptist, worship is the life-blood of our church. Using a
traditional format blended with innovative music and preaching, our
services are marked by a diverse congregation of young and old, liberal
and conservative. Demographically, ethnically, theologically and
economically, we are a Body of Christ where unity is celebrated, not in
sameness, but in respect and love. Paraphrasing the Apostle Paul, we
are a people that tries to fully capture the reality that through faith
there is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for
all are one in Christ Jesus. After each service, refreshments are
provided in Fellowship Hall.
Young people
are not the church of the future, they are the church of today!
So we encourage our parents to bring their kids to church and
we offer a special children’s message for them during our service
as well as a professionally staffed nursery.
On
Sundays during the school year (September to May), we offer Bible
Study for all ages from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. and we worship together from
11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Please check our calendar for the summer hours, when we worship from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
You are
welcome to join our coffee & fellowship time after worship as well.
